Please join us on Wednesday, June 26th, from 7:30 – 8:45 pm for our next karma class.
This session is by donation, and will be in support of our SEVA fund, which helps to support local families and organizations we believe in. This month our SEVA fund donations will be going directly towards families in our community who are going through childhood cancer.
No donation is to small, our priority is making this space to come together to practice, accessible for everyone, and helping our community.
We get really caught up in the busyness of life. We are living in an overstimulated world and if we don’t take time to stop, decompress and process then we start to fall apart.
What does mindfulness even mean? In simple terms, it means to pay attention to your present moment. It’s a practice that brings us back home to ourselves, underneath all the distractions life presents to us. In this class we are gently reintroducing ourselves back to our breath and finding a path underneath the incessant merry-go-round of our thoughts.
When we don’t give ourselves a chance to be quiet and integrate the experiences of our life then we begin to live in a chronic state of stress, we can move through our lives on auto-pilot, and the effects are profound. We see it in our relationships, in the way we communicate, in our health, in our sleep, in our overall energy levels. By simply slowing down we start to reverse these effects and become healthier, happier and calmer.
Please join us as we journey back into the simple experience of a deep full breath, some quiet time in stillness, and gentle slow mindful movement.
We are excited to share with you that we will be adding this as a regular offering to our weekly schedule starting in August. We also have 6 – week mindful movement, meditation and relaxation series (based on the teachings by Jon Kabat-Zinn) starting on Friday afternoons in September. Stay tuned for more details!
Sending you love, love and more love from our studio to your hearts.
