This is an annual fundraiser to raise money to support children’s mental health. Thanks to the generosity of so many, CHEO has the ability to help more children with mental health issues.
Did you know that visits to the Emergency Department have increased by 75%? More than 3/4 of the children that have gone because of mental health issues had suicidal thoughts or behaviours? In 2018, CHEO had over 3100 children come to the Emergency Department needing mental health care?
